Great: Favorite Pokemon game?Silver was my favorite as a kid, and then when they remade it SoulSilver with the partner Pokemon following you around everywhere, it became the best one ever.

Net: Has there ever been a Pokemon you had difficulty catching?Two nights ago, I spent an hour trying to catch a fucking Abra on Blue by just throwing Pokeballs at it because I didn’t have anything that could put it to sleep, and I really wanted to try out the Mew glitch.  Beyond that, I know there’s been others.  I think I spent something like a hundred ultra balls trying to catch all the sprites in Pearl.  And I’ve spent hours in a Friend Safari trying to find a shiny Trapinch to absolutely no avail.

me too!!! especially with athena saying that being a vault hunter would suit fiona and everything!

I already did 42 and 18 so I’m going to do 6 and 15 instead! :)

6: if people floated instead of walking, how far off the ground would you be?

i mean, this presupposes there’s some association with some aspect of your person and how high off the ground you’d be... i’d like to think i’d be ten feet off the ground, but i’m more grounded than i like to think i am... probably about two feet off the ground, close enough to still see what’s going on but not so high that i completely lose my sense of reality.

2: First console you owned?

My uncle bought my family a Nintendo Entertainment System, much to my mother’s eternal dismay.  He decided it was too much fun for us not to have one.  I think I was three?

17: Gaming company you’re most loyal to?

I don’t know that I’m loyal to companies so much as I’m loyal to franchises.  I never go out of my way to play something by any particular company, but stuff like Kingdom Hearts, Megaman, Pokemon, Final Fantasy, etc. I’ll actively try to play.  I probably play the most Squeenix games, but I don’t often venture far beyond KH and Final Fantasy.

19: Do you use strategy guides?

Only if I get stupidly stuck, or if I want to know the particular outcome of a choice that I can’t be arsed to replay the entire game for.  I usually try to hack it out on my own first!

24: Hardest boss fight you’ve been in?

I don’t know if these were really hard so much as incredibly frustrating wars of attrition that took several (up to half hour) attempts, but the ones that stick out in my mind are Barthandelus 2.0 from FFXIII, Bhunivelze+ from Lightning Returns, BASICALLY EVERY BOSS FIGHT IN PERSONA 4 I MEAN COME ON WHAT THE HELL (maybe I was just super under-levelled, idk it was ridiculous) and Terra-nort in Birth by Sleep (though to be fair, once you get the block/counter down, he’s a fucking cakewalk, but it took me forever to get it down, I’m so used to hack-and-slash in KH, like what is this fucking strategizing, my god).  And Sephiroth on KH2 took me like thirty some odd tries.  Never again.

rhys/fiona seems to be the more popular ship in fandom, which is funny to me since i try to RP them as merely tolerating each other

Same. I guess that they’re probably more popular because they’re the male and female protagonists and people are like, “let’s pair them up”. Troy Baker and Laura Bailey do seem to be play each other’s love interests very frequently in a bunch of other stuff, so maybe that’s part of the reason too.  But yeah, none of their interactions seem to be romantic to me, more like, “these two are slowing learning to trust each other and become friends”.
