JRoth defending what he said about Bellamy and Clarke being the heart and the brain! After listening to this entire podcast I understand JRoth a little more. It must be so hard doing what he does & making the decisions he has to make. I'll ease up! And besides when they talked about the shipping part JRoth added "it's a long journey" .. In my Bellarke heart I know this was for us again! He 'sees what we see' guys!!!! End game is so much better than RIGHT NOW! Slow burns always mean so much more anyway. But you know what was repulsive when I went to view his comments people were completely bashing him and clexa this clexa that. It was terrible.. And annoying. We are lucky he even has a Twitter anymore.

It is 2015 and we are reading Florence Nightingale's _Notes on Nursing_ for our Foundations of Nursing, and I feel like I wanna grab Florence Nightingale by her lace collar and give her a lecture on what it's ACTUALLY like to be poor, rather than her judgements that the poor are deficient in hygiene knowledge and don't know what's good for them because we don't pick a place to live with clean running water and "good air". Look boo, I haven't been back to your time cos my cardboard and tinfoil time travel machine works better as a fancy hat than a teleporter, but I can guess that things haven't really changed much from your time to mine: income inequality means not getting to choose a place that has all your best interests at heart. Income inequality means having to consider your landlord's motives when lease renewal comes around, and maybe even having your lease sold out from under you anyways--if you can even pin your landlord down to give you a lease, and if you can pass the credit check, put down the deposit, and somehow beat out all the rich newcomers to your city who are driving the price of housing sky high while they take up all the cheap housing saving up to buy a house. I am almost 30 years old and my effing apartment doesn't even reliably have hot water, and was probably built around the time that Notes on Nursing was going into it's 50 year anniversary printing because Seattle was a boom town of ramshackle places better for sleep than for rest or living (sound familiar? this town is always boom or bust).
