Surprisingly, Xander’s alcohol tolerance seemed to build itself up.  He wouldn’t be so confident if not for already downing that bottle of vodka. It was the kind of confidence that it’s dangerous to have, the one that makes you feel invincible. So as he saunters towards Hanna, his attempts to be incredibly coy probably wasn’t so convincing.     “      ‘sup, riley ?      ”        A head nod as he smiles in an attempt to be charming.       “      ever hear of an M.O.R ?      ” 

@ohhanncs  “i don’t want to brag because i consider myself a lot more humbler than that but i did do extreme kayaking when i was eleven.”  nervously, however, she dips her toes in the water, testing the temperature just in case things go wrong. “it was in my 12 by 30 inflatable pool and i was wearing a life jacket but, still, shit’s rough. it was extreme, dude. so if you need any advice, ya know, don’t be afraid to ask   -   an actual instructor.”

Cady’d been in agony over this all week. Hanna was a good friend, and an even better partner in -- what was the opposite of crime? Kindness? Peace? Well. The point is she’d never want to make her feel uncomfortable, which is why she’d been dreading this conversation. But she was getting next to nowhere on the notes issue, and a brain like Hanna’s could really help.
