I prefer Serefin. He's a precious alcoholic loser (he's not a loser but he really goes through a lot of shit) His character arc was perfect. We see him at first as this powerful and very scary blood mage (from Nadia's perspective) And then we see him in his true glory: hungover and 'oh well, it seems I may die'. I adore Malachaiasz but I want to fight him. Have you ever liked a character and at the same time wanted to f i g h t him? Let me fight him. I would die. But let me.

but introducing one boy as the villain and having it be the other in the end is one of my greatest accomplishmentsÂ
I've been reading a lot of bad books lately. They gave me a headache but also an epiphany: you will get published. There is no freaking way that karma will not repay me for reading so many bad books in my life. It would be unfair. So one day, I will hold your hardcover books and fan myself CAUSE damn Torin and Serefin. You will get published. I need another good writer in my life, I have enough karma points for that. I know we should be only talking about star wars right now, but I just saw this one post that got me thinking: what if Kaz (or Inej) die in the end of Crooked Kingdom and Kaz never gets his chance of redemption? The EU is wild. It’s v dark and honestly saying ‘Everyone either dies or goes Sith’ is….. not a totally inaccurate statement.Â
The current canon is very small! So! I’ve technically not read anything in it but i’ve heard great things about Lost Stars by Claudia Gray and the novelization for The Force Awakens is a dreaaaaam. Here’s a list of the new canon.Â
