I’m replaying OH book one (because I miss Rafael) and if you’re not romancing him Ethan Ramsey is really creepy. Like I haven’t purposefully done any romantic things with him, I did one diamond scene - the looking after baby ethan one - because it felt rude to tell him to leave and he still acts like I’m romancing him. I just finished chapter 8 and there’s this scene where he thanks you for keeping the secret about Dr Banjerji and he leans in close and squeezes your arm and as someone who has not made any romantic advances on him and is he inferior in the work place that is very uncomfortable.
Like sometimes the forced LI is kind of okay but as Ethan is our boss it feels very awkward and bad when he flirts with me despite my lack of interest.
(Also in book one all the LIs have pretty much equal screen time and so the complaints about the bias towards Ethan in book feel very valid)
