Ok listen, I have to get this off my chest; I am out of control. This lie is snow balling and I need an emergency extraction asap. I was putting away the freshly washed mugs on top of the coffee machine at work, stretching across my manager who was making a coffee, right? Well he catches sight of my nails, which I got done just the other day real fancy-like, and he casually comments "nice nails." I say thanks; its very sweet of him to notice and for once its a perfectly innocent, friendly remark with no underhanded jabs at my 'boyfriend' or more requests for a date. Nothing good lasts, though. "Did you do them for your boyfriend?" Okay, come on. You were doing so well. "Yeah actually," I say with a suggestive wink. "He likes them long. Likes it when I leave claw-marks." I barely get a chance to see his jaw drop before I turn on my heel with a fabulously executed hair flip and bee-line for the kitchen ...Where I then proceed to break down in hysterics cause I'm the biggest, shyest, inexperienced fucking virgin you will ever meet and ohmygo d the rest of my coworkers are gonna hear about this before the shift is up; what have I gotten myself into??
