Alex's delivery on "you bastard!" is so full of pain you can hear just how much love is there. The way Jon loves Martin in the moment where he asks him to pick up the knife is so sorrowful, cruel, and imperfect.

Asking Martin to kill him, dying in his arms and at a the hand of someone that truly loved him is the most human thing Jon ever did.

The day before last, Jon had made the mistake of wishing he had hot water for a bath. "Cold is better," she had said at once, "if you’ve got someone to warm you up after. The river’s only part ice yet, go on." Jon laughed. "You’d freeze me to death."

"Are all crows afraid of gooseprickles? A little ice won’t kill you. I’ll jump in with you t’prove it so."

"And ride the rest of the day with wet clothes frozen to our skins?" he objected.

"My lady should dance with her husband."

And the character I’d want to be? Well who wouldn’t want to be Jon Snow — the brooding, Byronic, romantic hero whom all the girls love.

Also Jon gets called paranoid a lot from what I see but Elias did kill Gertrude and one of his assistants was out to get him. Hate to be that person, but is it really paranoia when you’re right and they are actually out to get you? I mean Tim has a perfect right to be upset and put off by Jon following him and the Magnus Institute taking over his life, but Jon was actually right on the money.
