#oh asher

During our lunch period, Lou, Kat, Asher, and I all went outside so that us girls could discuss my relationship/non-relationship with Larkin. Asher just tagged along because he didn’t want to miss the chance of hanging out with Kat. She was still finishing up the end of her grounding so she wasn’t out of the woods yet.

Lou: What do you think Kat? Should she ask him?

Kat: I think you should wait it out a bit longer Hannah. Maybe he is just nervous and is waiting for the right time, or he thinks that you might not want to date yet.

Asher: *says under breath* Maybe she should just ask him?

Hannah: Asher! You are a guy! Tell us what you think.

Kat: Oh dear!

Lou: Oh, this should be good.

Asher: Well uh. I mean you could always just ask him and see what he says.

Hannah: You don’t think that will blow up in my face?

Lou: Yeah Asher you are a guy. Tell us how the male brain works we are just dying to know.

Kat: Oh God.

Asher: Guys are reasonably simple and I genuinely think that if you ask him he will tell you what he wants to do. I don’t think it could go wrong at all and if it does who needs him anyway.

Hannah: Thanks Asher I will take your words into consideration.

As Asher and Kat walked into the building Asher looked at Kat.

Asher: I did good right? I was helpful.

Kat: Oh yeah babe you did amazing. Proud of you.

Lou and I were walking back inside when Larkin met us in front of the stairs. 

Larkin: Lou do you mind if I steal your best friend from you? 

Lou: Take her away West. 

Lou waved me goodbye and winked at me. Larkin and I walked up the stairs heading to my next class.
