Based off White Zangetsu's BLEACH BRAVE SOULS Spirit Society Demon Form. And the initial rough concept of BLEACH's HELLverse. (I don't support the resurrect any important character nonsense) 

But anyhow, Zangetsu marched into Hell and declared himself Overlord. If there was a previous ruler, they are no more. If Hell's guards attacked him before, then they now serve him. It is said his spiritual power burns as hot as the sun.

He grew more horns that twisted in different ways. The chains on his arms aren't a declaration that he's a prisoner. He willingly wrapped them around his garbs. The gold-encrusted bones and skulls help identify him as ruler, and the chains, apart from those that are HIGHLY powerful, can act as unbreakable whips and shields. He loves to swing them around like weapons. They are also a security feature. They tie him to Hell's heart, and thus, if his body ever perishes, he is auto-rebirthed into the lava pools to take revenge. 

Is it too late to do the 10-year challenge?

The first drawing, circa 2008, was one of my all time favorites. It was a point of pride, one of the first drawings I was actually incredibly excited with. Around that time, I was a little bit of a homebody. I played soccer and I had friends, but I spent most of my time cooped up in my room watching anime, drawing characters and writing my kingdom hearts fanfiction (before I knew what fanfiction was. And boy from what I remember it was cringey).

Fast forward to today. I figured why not try to redraw something I’ve always secretly been proud of. Especially since yesterday’s announcement! The thing I forgot: I haven’t drawn bleach characters since probably this drawing. But hey, it wasn’t a complete disaster! For one, I’m way better at shading.

Honmei Choco 

Consider: In Japan, this homemade chocolate is supposed to be meant for the one you love. A labor of love you can pour your feelings into! Usually, women give the chocolate to men on valentine’s day but... what do you do if you’re gay? 

Giri Choco 

Consider: “Obligation” chocolate, meant for classmates and coworkers, a simple nicety to brighten someone’s day. Some may love it and be grateful... others may be disappointed...

Tomo Choco  

Consider: Chocolate given between friends. A simple celebration of friendship with no strings attached.

Fine wine 

Consider: A gesture of romance? A means to say money is no object in the face of love? Or is it a bottle wasted to drown heartbreak and woes? 

Red Roses 

Consider: The symbol of love and passion, every bloom is beautiful with velvet petals and vibrant colors. But careful with the thorns that may hide beneath. 

Carnations 

Consider: White carnations mean pure love. Red carnations express deep love and affection. Its scientific name “dianthus” translates roughly to "flower of the gods”. Too bad many see it merely as a cheap gas station flower. 

Candy Hearts 

Consider: Chalky little candies children trade at school. Nostalgia in sugared form. Some people love them for their cheesy little phrases others will merely roll their eyes. 

Love letters

Consider: Simple but beautiful, and handwritten with care? Clumsy and awkward but ultimately endearing? A token that long-distance lovers exchange regularly? A one-sided affair? 

Secret Admirer

Consider: Someone to shy to say that they like the object of their affection? Or someone that shouldn’t love the person they do? 

Lingerie

Consider: A new couple and their first time together or a lasting couple who never get tired of making every time special? 

Cupid 

Consider: Roman god of love and lust, now a common symbol of Valentine’s Day. In mythology, his arrow never misses, but these days... well, that’s not always true.

Candle Light

Consider: a soft warm light, dim, but more than enough on this particular night. Tenderness. A gesture of romance and ambiance. Sure things can easily go wrong, but things can just as easily go right. 

Proposal

Consider: A proposal to stay the night? Or a proposal to last their entire life? Romantic or cheesy? And the most important question of all: do they say yes?
