confusion is a feeling paige’s become intimately familiar with the past few years. the charmed ones are prone to the unixplainable and penelope’s sudden presence in their lives is no exception. beyond the surprise and the doubts, though, paige feels for the girl. she understands her. “that’s good,” voice keeps lows, framed by a soft smile. she holds a small cup in her hand, fills the space between them to proffer it to the girl. “i made you some tea. it’s special, it’ll make you feel better.” paige nods, reassuring. “don’t worry, honey. you can trust me.” pushing dark hair behind her ears, paige cants her head and considers the question. “i’m good. a little... stunned, i guess. probably not half as much as you.” 

                                                                turmoil,   the   only   way   she   can   begin   to   describe   how   she’s   felt   in   the   weeks   since  penelope   was   revealed   to   them.   she   has   another   sister,   and   on   that   she   does   truly   feel   HAPPY,   except   her   father   hadn’t   told   them   and   kept   her   away   from   them.   hurt   /   betrayal,   she   can’t   even   try   and   understand   why   he   did   it.   it’s   not   penelope’s   fault,   though,   and   she   has   plenty   of   experience   with   little   sisters,   just   another   one   to   sit   with   her   while   she   works.   magic   is   in   the   air   of   the    shop,   letting   it’s   visitors   feel   relaxed   and    s a f e,   and   she’s   pretty   sure   it’s   the   main   draw   in   for   her   families   regular   visits.   there’s   a   chair   set   up   at   her   work   station,   just   for   her   regular   visitors,   and   she   nods   to   her   to   take   it.   “you’re   welcome   in   here   whenever   you   want”   her   area   is   a   mess   of   organised   chaos   and   she   only   swings   around   in   her   chair   once   she’s   decided   nothing   has   been   moved   overnight   “sometimes   i   come   here   just   to    get   away   from   it   all   and   i’ve   known   them   my   WHOLE   life,   text   me   and   i’ll   flame   you   here,   pene  :  it’s   my   big   sister  duty.”                             / @ofturncr
