Emma didn’t seem amused by Neal’s leaps of logic. “That’s not what I said. ‘Happily ever after’,” her fingers raising to air quote the term, “implies the whole fall in love, get married, and nothing wrong ever happens again shtick. That’s not realistic. We both know that.” And she wasn’t referencing him leaving her, though she couldn’t lie that she briefly thought about it.

Neal smiled. “Sure thing.” He said, nodding. “Let’s give it a go. I haven’t exactly decided what I want to carve yet.” Neal was doing his best to act as normal as possible. The fact that Ben was here was a good thing. To Neal, it meant that he wanted to get to know him, at least. He didn’t blame him a bit for feeling left out. Their father seemed to have a one track mind. Still, they were brothers, and Neal never turned his back on family. “Last year, I did Spiderman and the Pillsbury Doughboy. I think I want to do something more complicated. Maybe the Millennium Falcon.” He looked at the pumpkin for a moment and then turned to Ben. “What do you think?”

“That’s going to be an intense pumpkin.” Ben said with a shrug and a smile. He rubbed the back of his neck, looking over his gourd.He didn’t really have the dexterity for something like the Millennium Falcon. 

And the story of us looks a    lot like a tragedy now.

Olivia wasn’t entirely sure what to call Neal. Henry just jumped right into calling the man dad but Olivia..Olivia was different than her brother. She wasn’t as trusting. She wasn’t going to just call this stranger dad. She’s been burned before when she was younger and more trusting. She knew that people could be in your life one second and then gone the next. So why set herself up for any kind of future pain if he left her?

But he was her birth father and she wanted the chance to get to know him. So while everyone else seemed to be busy the girl went over to where Neal was settled at the table and she sat down across from him. 

    he has not yet had a chance moment to apologize for what has happened.  too caught up with antics of the black fairy    ---    no moment to tell neal anything. but NOW  with his heart back he can be honest.  ---     it was not    truly    his fault.     his half brother however does deserve an apology.      ❛          i do  believe i owe you an apology brother.   my actions were however inexcusable   were not of my own will.             but  nonetheless    i am sorry      ❜ 

if  he can tell        NO ELSE     he can tell bae.   more lies once again.  -----  but they have to understand.  if he was not to forgive the past how can he expect others to forgive him.  &   HE KNOWS JUST HOW SHE FEELS.       he can not walk away  -----    but he needs to tell someone. step again forward into the light.      ❛      bae there is something you must know ---     ❜
