Generally speaking, Link himself is one of the original OTPs I had with villager felix; Due to Felix being a half-ocelot that fit's the 'forest' aesthetic, and he happens to be good at stuff like puzzles!
Depending on the specific game, he fits right in; the most with breath of the wild. Granted, he'd stick out anywhere beyond the forest; there's technically not any real 'cat people', although there's already fish and bird people, so!
Twilight Princess Link is a real Cat Guy, so that paired with the wolf thing; Wolf Link can actually move into New Leaf via Amiibo! So they're besties in my head, at bare minimum.
He'd be an odd traveler, and I feel like his fate would vary though, realistically, depending on which non-npc he encountered first.
