Sam Winchester, the younger one of the infamous Winchester brothers, was sitting alone in their bunker since Dean had left to get something. He didn’t really had listened him, he just had nodded a few times as a sing that he had heard his elder brother’s words. It was wrong to say that he wouldn’t care about him because he did, he definitely cared about Dean and he was ready to die for him if he needed to. No, the problem wasn’t that he didn’t care about Dean or Dean didn’t care about him. No, the problem was that Dean care too much, way too much and it had caused problems to them but to be fair, Sam wasn’t innocent either. He had also went too far to protect Dean.

But he was different. He understood that Dean was able to take care of himself but Dean.. Dean didn’t seem to understand that his little brother was also capable to take care of himself. He still acted like he needed to save him from everything, he still called him Sammy, just like he had called him when they were kids. But they weren’t kids anymore and it was something that Dean needed to understand.
