The pitter-patter of the rain was rapidly hitting the ground, she could hear it. It had been raining since early this morning, she couldnât even take a chance to go outside and enjoy some fresh air. Of course, there werenât any visitors, which didnât surprise her. It had been raining for some times, probably a couple days now. It would probably pass sooner or later.
The wind priestess was currently enjoying a cup of tea, milk tea to be exact. Her beryl irises focused onto the steam that was coming from the tea, honestly, she had been bored. She wasnât very fond of rain anyway, it always seemed to bring a gloomy presence with it. She gently blew on the surface of the hot liquid, in hopes of cooling it down.
Her lips then came in contact with the edge of the cup, she took a small sip. It was hot, but it was manageable to drink. She went to take another sip but stopped, she began to hear the pitter-patter ofâŚfeet? Probably an animal? She didnât know, but she wanted to know. Her curiosity was getting the better of her. She set the cup on the table, and headed outside.
Immediately, once she stepped outside, she was welcomed by the rain hitting her skin. She ignored the feeling, and began looking around, her beryl irises soon came in contact with a pair of milky white eyes that belonged to what it seemed like a large fox. She was currently in shock at the sight, due to the fact this was her first time seeing such a thing.
What exactlyâŚwas that, and why was it at the shrine?
"What are you?â Were the only words that managed to escape the maidens lips.
