Create a 32Auctions account. First step’s easy enough. Just go to www.32auctions.com, click “login” in the upper right corner, and then follow the steps to create your account. If this isn’t your first time aboard the ship and you’ve participated in our other fundraising events, your old account will still work.

Check out this fabulous booty we’re hawking! You can view all the items available at www.32auctions.com/fandommarket. We’ll rotate through ten “featured items” at the top of the page, but otherwise you can simply select to View All, and then use the Sort By filter in the top left to sort all items by current selling price, most recent bids, item name, or item number. 

…that’s a lot of booty. We know! We recommend using the Item Categories filter near the top center of the page. We’ve assigned categories for every item in the craft fair, such as Clothing & Accessories, Home Goods & Pet Gear, and Needlework & Fiber Arts. Only interested in items that are specifically about Our Flag Means Death? Select the “Our Flag Means Death” category here to narrow it down. Or try simply using the main search bar and typing in some words you frequently associate with the show like “rosy maple moth,” “robe,” or “whale” to see what surprises pop up.

Have a tight budget, or not up for a bidding war? In the Items Category filter, select Buy It Now. These are items that will not be going up for auction, but will be sold at a flat rate. While there are multiples of many of these items, historically Buy It Now items have gone fairly quickly, so we’d recommend checking those out early. 

I love everything about you. Find an item that you love and want to bid on? Want to track the items that you donated? Just want to quickly jump to an item to see how fierce the bidding war is? Add the item to your Watch List by either clicking the heart icon on the photo image on the main page, or on the right hand side of the individual item listing. Then you can quickly navigate to your Watch List by hitting the heart icon at the top of the page, or clicking the Item Categories filter and selecting My Watchlist.

TAKE MY MONEY! The American Immigration Council will gladly take your money… AFTER the craft fair closes at 11:45 EST on Saturday, March 21. (Need to know when that is in your time zone? Click here, or use your favorite time zone conversion service.) After the auction closes, you will receive an invoice from 32Auctions, along with a direct link to make your donation so it gets counted as part of our fundraiser.

TAKE EVEN MORE MONEY! You can absolutely donate more than your invoiced amount to AIC; you just have to donate at least your invoiced amount in order to receive your items. (You are also welcome to donate to our fund that covers shipping expenses and 32A administrative fees at our Ko-fi.)

TAKE MY MONEY RIGHT NOW! We appreciate the spirit, but even if you only purchased Buy It Now items, we ask that you hold off on donating until the event is over. The craft fair requires a massive amount of coordination, and this will make it easier to ensure everything is processed accurately.

I WON! NOW WHAT?! We’ll provide more details once we get closer to the fundraiser closing, but in short, you’ll just need to pay your invoice amount to AIC and update your shipping address in 32A so we can make sure we can get your items to you. (We know many of you will want to do this early so you don’t forget, but unfortunately 32A does not allow you to do this until you’ve purchased an item. Don’t worry; we’ll remind you.) If you won a commission, we will connect you with your crafter in the days following the auction closing so you can get started.

We welcome traditional work in flat mediums as well as flat-ish mediums such as embroidery or collage that may contain elements better captured with digital photography as opposed to scanning, just as long as the final file meets the minimum size and quality requirements for printing. (No traditional photography for this project)

Finished postcards will be printed and available through a 32auctions sale, all donations going to TYC!
