                HER STEADY GAZE is not unsympathetic, uplifted from the leather-bound volume in her hands. it knowingly darts in the direction of two black headed herondales, bent together and arguing, rather ostentatiously, in welsh. but when she looks back to gabriel, her expression speaks of HUSHED AFFECTION and she says, with a laugh,       “   they can be quite a handful, can’t they?   “ 

“If you're so worried for my safety in the streets of London, Gabriel, you can always join me. Or perhaps it means you need to train me better so you know I can look after myself.” She raised a brow, smiling innocently at him despite the playful look in her eyes.
