My OC/sona got created when my best friend @soopsop drew this back in 2024

It was meant to be a cool art of our sonas standing together: their (now former) sona Eeve on the right, and mine on the left. The fish details were inspired by my username, outrageousfish, and his shirt is my old discord pfp

For a name, the first thing I thought of was Sam the Salmon (mostly because my Minecraft skin is salmon Jesus), and it stuck. More art of Sam came out as my friend did cool artist shit, and then in January 2025, me, @soopsop, and their wife @exoticmamba started a RP between our sonas as OCs. This has since spiraled into a big creative writing project and a lot of lore writing, trauma bonding, and world-building. My OC, Sam, is from the ichthyoningen faction of Lydia (there's 13 factions but I've only worked on 3 of them because they're the only plot relevant ones rn), so when I joined a discord server called the Bread Council and became a Bread Knight, I made my server nickname Sir Samuel of Lydia. That has gone onto inspire a few usernames and my tumblr handle. My current pfp is a Sam doodle that was on a birthday card Soop got me for my 17th birthday.

Also the RP is still going (whenever we have time in our busy ahh lives)

And ye that's the bare bones of my sona's creation. If this gets enough attention I might drop his in-RP backstory and lore.

Ok, first and foremost, that is genuinely such a cool design. I can also fully relate to a one off thing turning into my user.

Second, as my first ask, you clearly understood the mission and I love that, bc all the lore bits you shared are amazing.

they are a genderless soot golem who was created by some guy whos kinda fucked up and they absolutely loathe him (yay, daddy issues). they are currently around 120 years old and is practically immortal. you can extinguish their flame, which is kinda killing them, but you can reignit it rlly easily so yeah, they cant rlly die. before meeting their now best friends, they were a bounty hunter and on the run, but now they just do kinda whatever, generally tinkering with weapons and making explosives cause they like doin that. oh, they're also a pretty bad person and cares about no one unless they have some sort of positive connection with their friends :)

That is such an awesome idea! Also, genuine question, are their eyes open or closed in the drawing. Either way, really cool design.

This is Kijeket, he’s from Thekerith, a fiction planet I made. The planet itself is like 50/50 land and water, so the environment is kinda odd. His eyes are orange, as humans eyes there evolved to develop pheomelinin (reds and oranges) in the eye to help block sun. Cats also have Pheomelinins in their eyes so humans theee tree can have the eye color range of cats and then some.

He ruled on of the two, well not kingdoms, more of a collective of villages. All the villages were independent but he was one of the many stand ins for government, but it is also similar to a monarchy where his kids, if he had any, would’ve taken over when he died. The land he oversaw was called Kit-Etheret, the other being Kit-Jratik.

He was part of a cultural thing called the big seven, which is just a group of different leaders throughout history that could fight extraordinary well, talked and were loved by the people, and have a biome the usually are associated with.

The last one stems from a ‘right of way test’ that is done 8 years before the crown is handed down. The ‘test’ is done at 16 years old and they often get the throne handed to them (if the old ruler is still alive) at 24. The test is that you choose an environment (ex. Mountains, oceans, caves, plains, forests etc) and live there without direct help from any local villages. They can, and are encouraged to, still talk with the locals, as the exchange of knowledge is part of the reason this test emerged. They also choose one weapon they can use for hunting and more, that is often referred to as whatever leaders chosen weapon, and often gets popular to use during their reign if they are good. The test itself is 4-16 days(they do have their own methods for measuring time but I’m choosing to use ours for simplicity right now.) but to be considered one of the big seven you must do it for all 16 days or more, as some can and do choose to stay longer. It’s ment to showcase if a leader can hold their own and can be sociable yet disciplined by not breaking the rules.

24 is the age everyone ‘reaches maturity’ in the area, but at 16 often they are started to be given more freedoms, as that age is seen as a pre-adult age, like how when you turn 16 in may places you can drink or get a license.

Also the reason that 8, 16 and 24 are special, is because their counting system is base 8, which means when they get to the number 8 when counting it resets similarly to how when we hit 10 we reset to 11. It’s a bit hard to explain here but yeah.

I have a lot of cultural and land related things about this character and more. They also have their own alphabet and language, but I can’t get the alphabet to work on here, but I have gotten it to work on discord! For example Jikitit means hello or welcome! There are some words and phrases with no direct translation though, as they name things not done in at least English or name flora or fauna that only exist on their planet.

I don’t really post the lore on my main blog as the one art piece I released about it, an animal called Hrajk-thek, had little to no interaction.

I am making a discord server about this lore, but it’s going to take forever and I’m not releasing the server until it is complete. And even then I may not depending on how much interest I get when I start to officially advertise sometime far in the future.

Ajhasjfj, so much lore, I LOVE IT!!! This seems like such an interesting world. This feels like one of those things I'd become obsessed with for a few weeks.

Her name is Ephrafrim. She's a shafaemon. I made up her species, her realm, and everything that lives there. She evolved over time from a Minecraft oc named Adurna, and underwent many complete overhauls. I will probably post a much larger lore drop, but I just got off work, so im tired sob.

Myra (Left) and Echo (Right) two of my Minecraft ocs for a fanfic I'm debating on writing.

Myra is a spirit/Vex. Vexes in my au are trapped souls of spirits killed by Illagers. Myra was in the process of getting her soul trapped when she was able to be rescued by the group (happened before they met Echo)

Echo is a Voidkin, more specifically she is a Voideborne Voidkin, born from the death of a star. She has two wings that are useless to her due to a birth defect. This made her learning void magic critical growing up. She is one of, if not the most, magically powerful Voidkin.

They are girlfriends.

Ooo, these gals sound interesting. And I love the character designs! All the little details like the fire assets over Myra's eyebrows to make them look partially covered. It looks really good!
