‌‌✦ i remembered that i hadn't mentioned before that all the faceless ones in my AU weren't brothers. It seems like my friend did it in the reblog, but not me. For me, this is due to the way they are "born" in my version of the universe - they are the same kind of creatures, but this cannot be called a blood relationship like humans. If they can call each other brother/sister/sibling, then this is in a more global sense, precisely addressed to the fact that they are the same species. Moreover, my faceless ones can create a "blood" relationship, but this happens extremely rarely, because it leads to vulnerability.

Basically I wanted my own version of offenderman that didn’t rape people. Offenderman was a character I got attracted to/attached to when I was 14, this character like Splendorman has lived alongside me forever, so to toss him now, being an adult and fully understanding the context of his character made me feel somewhat sad and empty, to let go of something so dear to me something that I held closely to my heart and imagination for years. I interacted with this character so much inside of my mind he almost acted alive in his own sense, thus my personal attachment to him outside of Cannon is very intimate and strong. As I grew up I obviously didn’t want the old story of offenderman to follow with me, it became a thing that was triggering as someone who has had a csa experience offenderman went from a comfort to something that made my skin crawl and triggered me but my desire still ached for him to remain in my life in one way or another. This was a confusing feeling but an easy fix for me, the solution was that since I myself am a victim my voice is eligible to dismiss offenderman’s cannon, dismissing offenderman’s cannon for my own comfort slowly started turning him into what I now call crim, occasionally I still call him offenderman out of habit and due to old patterns it’s what I’m used to but regardless his cannon is ALWAYS dismissed with me , it doesn’t serve me therefore his cannon form has no place here.

Anyways! Anyone feel free to ask anything else about Crim. He’s still a developing character , but I’m sure there’s still stuff I can answer regardless.
