PLEASE 😭 absolutely not. she would casually bring up the idea one day like she was just testing the waters and somehow it would turn into a full crisis:

“garrett, i’m a grown woman”

“and clearly incapable of making responsible decisions.”

“YOU HAVE A TATTOO”

“that’s different.”

“HOW?” when he couldn't come up with an answer fast enough, she crossed her arms. “you’re such a hypocrite.”

“and you’re not getting one. end of discussion” with that, garrett turned around triumphantly and headed toward the couch, fully convinced he'd won. he barely had time to sit down beside Hannah before Y/N quietly added:

“i already got one.”

garrett froze and alowly turned around. "you WHAT?!"

cue twenty minutes of arguing while hannah, logan, dean, and tucker sat on the couch getting ready to watch the game, completely unfazed by the chaos.

“you didn’t even tell me!”

“because you would’ve said no!”

“OF COURSE I WOULD’VE SAID NO!”

“see… that’s exactly why i didn’t tell you” she argued back

“IT’S TINY!” she would shout

“IT DOSEN’T MATTER” he shouted back

“what are you gonna do? peel it off? tattoos are forever, genius.” she teased

garrett spends the next week acting betrayed and randomly muttering “i can’t believe you got a tattoo behind my back.”

eventually he gets over it. although he still randomly asks: “…let me see it again.”

and every single time she proudly lifts her shirt sleeve or turns around dramatically while garrett sighs like she’s ruining his life.

“hannah, tell her she’s ruining her body.”

“garrett, it’s just a flower.” hannah would reply, not even looking up from her book

“today it’s a flower. tomorrow she’s joining a cult.”

i fully believe he wouldn’t actually care about the tattoo itself that much, he’d care that she did it without telling him 😭 he’d spend a few days sulking, acting betrayed and demanding to see it every five minutes and eventually admitting it’s cute. which, naturally, would inflate little g’s ego.
