off campus men all geriatric and mid while the girls are drop dead gorgeous and one is 19 🙄
and then i see people being like “stop complaining about their looks— they’re ‘normal’ people hot not celebrity hot” okay so you admit they’re mid. also a female lead would NEVER be able to be ‘normal’ people hot. fmc’s are ALWAYS drop dead gorgeous, even when they’re meant to be ordinary looking because women HAVE to be pretty. a male actor can get away with being a little ugly or average looking or being 30 and playing a 20yr old college student, but a woman could NEVER!!
bitches be like “omg he’s so HOT!” and it’s just a man. a man you’d pass on the street. and then women get scrutinized for just existing. in order for a girl to be considered hot or desirable enough to be a romantic lead they have to meet all these check marks and be basically perfect, but a man just has to have abs and full hair.
i’m not saying it’s weird that hannah’s actress is 19, i’m saying it’s unsurprising that the female lead would be younger than the male lead. the standards for women are so high and we are not allowed to age or look aged or even mature. the fact that all the guys look so old wouldn’t be bothersome if the girls did too, but they don’t. they look visibly younger.
like it’s not that serious it’s just a cringy tv show but also every thing is always that serious and i hate men.
