The capacity of Crowley’s head wasn’t something she could say much about because in all honesty she shared much the same opinion on the subject as Ferid did. For someone who kept to himself with his two maids he didn’t seem to think all that much out in the open. Though, just the fact that he had come to see her as she remained caged and chained in the dungeon of her own palace was enough to make her wary. Could she really trust this man who had not only attacked her but had also failed to save her from being drained to the point of unconsciousness?

“I must say that it warms my cold, dead heart to hear that Ferid is failing.” She said, crimson eyes peering up through pastel bangs to lock on to the thirteenth progenitor with a sort of uneasy glare. The queen, or former queen, was the definition of a beast with its back to a wall. If she didn’t have chains holding her down the first thing she would have done at the sight of the other vampire would have been to lash out.

“As much as I am grateful for the little status update you should understand why I’m a little….edgy at the moment.” She continued, accenting the words with a rattle of the chains. “No doubt allying myself with you would put me in a much better situation but what reason do I have to trust you since you’re half the reason I wound up in here?” Krul asked, scowl setting on her young lips. “Creatures don’t act without an incentive. That’s how the world works. So tell me, Crowley, what exactly do you gain by helping me? Especially against someone like Ferid.”

Gambling. Lying. Betraying. Bargaining. Cheating.
