thursday and friday had been mostly a blur; void of sleep, spent in a remorseful panic. the events following the seance, the death of her friend, the revival of some ancient entity, and worst of all... genevieve’s abandonment, it all weighed heavily on ariadne’s heart. friday had been her day of action, making the decision to grab the last of her essentials from home, and leaving a hasty note to peter that she would return, and explain everything after awhile.
which she never intended to do... and ari wondered if he would even want her back, especially if mason got to control the narrative of her leaving. mostly, ariadne just felt lost in everything, like she was stranded int he ocean unable to swim, victim to the waves. without anywhere to specifically call her home for the time being, and clueless as to what even could be deemed safe, she threw some stuff into a bag and took off towards ofelia’s. she’d been there only once before, briefly - but figured the girl would be a pleasant change from the somber attitudes that most of the grimoires girl had lately.
“good afternoon,” ari greeted the fire witch sheepishly after rapping her knuckles on the door. she pulled out a bottle of top-dollar tequila from a paper bag as a gift, holding it up temptingly. “i come with reinforcements.”
