Caitlin Snow had been and always would be her friend. This ice queen was nothing but some copy gone wrong. Even if Caitlin had fought her for as long as she could, ultimately the ice in the geneticist’s heart had won out.

It didn’t mean the engineer had to give into the darkness that also lurked within her.

Ok. So maybe threatening as meta-criminal wasn’t the best idea, but hey.

“ Caitlin? “ He wheels forward, stopping just short of the suddenly icy floor of the cortex. “ Caitlin please...I know this is scary..the Caitlin on my earth went through the same thing but she’s happy and she’s fine and I promise that’s something that can happen for you too. “

DESPITE NOT BEING BOUND by blood, there was no denying the relation between the agent and her sister. They were - after discovering each other almost a year ago - INSEPARABLE. There was no a day since their initial meeting that had gone without each other's company, and nor did either of the two plan to ever CHANGE that. That, however, had come to a pause with some  D I S T A N C E  being placed between them. The older sibling had observed the missing presence of her favourite company one morning. Now, that was not something out of the ordinary - both lead lives DEFENDING the world. Both attended to jobs that worked UNUSUAL hours. It was just that the brunette had not left any sort of note to be read in explanation of her disappearance. From that day, the communication had become less frequent between the sisters, and the more QUESTIONS being asked about it, the more space became apparent. It was not uncommon nowadays for one to not see the other over a span of days - and, when they did come into immediate PHYSICAL contact, it was always...  ICY .

The last time the CIA agent had heard from her beloved sister was a few hours ago in the form of a simple text:  (  " I'm losing control "  )  . Without proper context, that was enough for a sinking feeling to become present. Tracking the last ping of the device had been a relatively easy task that had lead her ground-slapping boots to some site across the city, yet before the one feeling responsible could even have a PROPER chance to inspect the perimeters, she had quickly faltered. Of course, it could be said with an outstanding amount of certainty that she was also paying attention due to the  C H A N G E  in appearance that her sister had taken during their very short time apart today, and that of which she currently halted several feet in front of.
