*sobs softly into the void* you’re such a sweetie there’s so much love I adore you.

It was rare for Natasha to sleep late. It was rare for Natasha to sleep much at all, really, she was the sort to steal moments of rest in the daytime or take powernaps leaning against one of her friends. The sun wasn’t even quite up yet when she heard the sounds of a shower somewhere in one of the nearby rooms, heard the pipes make their characteristic shriek. Her lips were curled into a smirk she heard the knock at the door and she stood, making her way over and opening it with her hands folded over her chest. She didn’t look as clean as him, no, she had been in the middle of a yoga routine and red hair was pulled up into a messy bun, yoga pants slung low on her hips and her sports bra riding up her stomach. ❝ Sparky, to what do I owe the pleasure? ❞ She teased, tilting her head to the side as she stepped aside to allow him entrance to her room.

Her grin was genuine as she tugged him into the room after her, pulling and then pushing him down onto the bed. If he’d truly wanted to resist, Natasha knew that Thor could have easily kept her from the motion, but he was allowing her to take the lead and that in itself made her smile. With the much larger man now laying in his back, she crawled atop him and planted a gentle line of kisses up his jaw.  Before his hands could come to rest upon her body, however, Natasha had flung herself off and around behind him, pulling his head onto her lap and touching his eyelids with her fingertips to encourage him to close them. Kissing him from upside down as she was, Natasha removed her lips and then fanned his hair out, slowly working blond strands into a few short braids and then, in turn, braiding those together too, her fingers pressing into his scalp afterwards in a gentle massage.

Omg both of those are fantastic. As an OT3 or separate ships. I love them both so much because Thor gives Nat this otherworldly life that she didn’t know she could have - an outlook that expands past her self hatred and into just openly feeling. And Steve and Nat understand one another and that makes me honestly just so happy because they learn and recover and grow together. It’s wonderful.
