Hello! Whats the best or what is your favourite treasure you’ve found?
YIPEEE THIS IS A GREAT QUESTION!!!!!! I have many treasures I really like so I’ll just show a few of my favorites :D
tw for animal bones
lower opossum jaw!! this was from the first roadkill I ever picked up, the jaws are still connected too
bird skull with neck and some other flesh still attached!! I found this on a hike, I don’t know what bird it is though so if anybody can tell from the skull lmk pls :]
squirrel skull!! found this from another roadkill that’s still currently decomposing. the head completely rotted but the ribcage and spine are still going, but almost done! it’s also a gray squirrel btw
I also wanna say these are all treasures I personally found, I’ve found other things like the deer skull at yard sales or flea markets for pretty cheap so I don’t count those since I wasn’t the one to really find them :P
I’ve only been oddity collecting/making for around three years I think ?? I hope to find some great finds this summer though since I’ll have a lot of time and I’m planning to teach myself some preservation methods (like salt preservation!)
my bugs
