Little by little, I’m making progress on my shiny illustration of Yvie Oddly’s incredible mirrored headpiece from the finale of Rupaul’s Drag Race. Lawd is this a time-consuming illustration, but the tiny details are starting to come through.

After seeing the perfection that is this lewk, it’s kinda hard to not be an Yvie stan...  I hope she got all her brains back in in time to do the lip syncs!

I finally finished my metallic ink illustration of @oddlyyvie’s incredible lip sync head piece from the finale of Rupaul’s Drag Race! I was SO inspired by Yvie’s entire run on Drag Race and absolutely blown away by the performance she brought us in this stunning goddess headwear. I used Pentel brush pens and Micron pens for the black ink, Posca paint pens for the red nails and makeup, and Coliro metallic paints for the gold and silver decorations. I hope you all enjoy this illustration as much as I enjoyed creating it!
