Adam Christopher wrote three novels for Arkane Studios, set in the Empire of the Isles, focusing on canon events before and after the Dishonored games and DLCs, following Daud, Corvo, Emily, and Billie, and you can download them from an awesome archive called oceanofPDF.com! I highly recommend supporting the site. The novels come in PDF and EPUB format, and are entirely free. I was hesitant at first, but good old Cyber Security Analyst Dad™️ gave it the okay, and it’s been a wallet saver.

• Got to any search engine, and type in “Return Of Daud OceanofPDF”. This is the only search term I’ve found that directly brings up what you’re going to be looking for.

• “Adam Christopher Archives” at OceanofPDF will be the top result.

• From there you can scroll down to the bottom of page one and find the Dishonored novels there!

I’m currently preparing for a hybrid 5e DnD and Official Dishonored TTRPG campaign set in the aftermath of DotO, and these novels have been instrumental in further understanding the lore of the Dishonored universe. The Corroded Man wasn’t my favorite, as I found it a little Mary-Sueish, but I still really enjoyed it. Return of Daud was absolutely excellent (he is SUCH a sassy bitch), however, and the Veiled Terror has been a delight to read.
