Challenge day 216 (actual day 220)
Bronx brought himself over for a visit this morning. He arrived and did a ‘hey... when are we going for a walk, aunty?’ dance, and also seemed super pleased with his level of initiative (bless). After letting Nat know where he was, we hung out at ours then went down to the beach for a play and a dip at lunchtime.
He wasn’t too sure about me getting in the water and leaving him on the sand, but he soon got the idea and sat and waited for me... just like siddy boi.
It’s nice how he’s starting to get into our grooves and rhythms cause we’re gonna be spending a lot more time together as Gala gets busy with work.
It was also nice to get in the water today, refreshing and ... nice!
Challenge day 209 (actual day 213)
Goat island w / the UTR girls.
It was misty in the water at the reserve this morning and very fishy. As much as I love photographing inverts, it really was nice to hang with the big Osteichthyes (bony fish). I even saw the silver drummer with the ‘cut out’ (from injury or similar) swimming in the shoal that I photographed a couple of months ago. I’d be interested to know more about their general range of habitat, I wonder if they move in and out of the area or are residents?
