#ocean needs

Dreaming of being underwater again. Visualizing is my quick and dirty way of getting this fix. Closing my eyes helps a lot of the time. First I imagine the scenery, sometimes a pool but more recently its been more about the ocean than anything else. Whats the most important here is the water is both clear enough to see through and deep enough to be able to get a fair distance away from the surface. I also do like to imagine im on the bottom or can see the bottom nearby as well. This allows me to be surrounded top and bottom by the thing im there to see. The light refracting and shimmering across the surface. The light that travels through the water to the bottom and appears again in patterns on the floor. I imagine the sounds of the water all around me the rhythm of constant movement. One of the aspects that is particularly enjoyable about being underwater mentally. Whether it be a dream or daydream, you can be down there as long as you want to. Nobody but yourself can bring you out of the water to breathe, because you can breathe. And this the ultimate fantasy, to be able to breathe underwater. No restrictions limits or breaks to breathe because you have gills. You're in the most unexplored and uninhabited by humans environment on the planet. Im not saying it would be impossible to ever run into another human or the impacts of humans. Imagine finding a little spot to call home spending time with the local fish everyday. Staying still for long enough that the fish start to go about their business as usual. Surrounding you in large colorful schools that go much higher than your head. Chasing your catch of the day and catching it however best suits the body you have chosen for this. Sharks start to recognize you and know you will pet them. You learn to take care of the fish you come across that need help. Anything you cant handle by yourself you bring them to the mainland to be taken care of by a human vet. Life becomes simple, when you do want a change of scenery you can easily travel to a new spot. You're human limits and responsibilities are nowhere to be found.

Craving saltwater. Regular water isn't the same. I need space to swim and explore. I want to get lost underneath the waves.
