Mom told me the other day that orcas also help each other with grooming! Which for people means brushing your hair, but whales don't have hair so I guess its for their skin? They do that using some kelp tools they make or something! It's really cool.

a whole fic based on matty’s many trips to the a&e?!?! seriously cannot wait!! this is gonna be so good!!
Hehe I hope it lives up to the hype! There was a lovely Anon who suggested a short series based on the paragraph in I Would Go Blind listing all the times that Matty went to A&E in his life which was why he didn't want to go get his eye checked and after saying "I can't start another fic right now" I also went "time to start another fic right now" and will hopefully have the first part/chapter up next week! We will be starting off with sixteen year old fictional!Matty and I am also excited! I've never written about the boys as teenagers before. I didn't intend to re visit the Infection Fic Verse again so soon but here we are- and it's going to be PRE-Infection (which includes the rise and fall of Fictional!Matty and Fictional!George's relationship the first time 👀)
Anyway, thank you so much for reading my fic, sending me this ask, and being excited about the many trips to A&E, I was already excited about this new project, but now seeing that there are other people out there that are excited as well? My own personal excitement as increased exponentially so thank you!!

waves: favourite season and why?
Autumn. There is something about the transition of the warmer months to a more cooler one, layering up, bit by bit, having a warm drink in hand and watching the leaves change colours and rustle in the wind, as heavier rain storms become more frequent. Also, the scent of the woods during Autumn is amazing, that sweet musky scent of decaying Maple leaves and honestly, the smell of fungi and going up into the mountain forests to forage for them. The Sea also starts to become more wild, with the waves lapping increasingly at the shores, bringing up the colourful leaves and other treasures. The beaches gradually become more empty with each passing day that gets colder and more wet, yet it feels so perfect.

Oh, I'm a fall bitch. I like winter, but on the mainland it gets way too cold for me. But fall is like...that nice crisp weather where it's comfy...not too cold, just right, you know? Also, all the leaves are changing color and when you grow up in a tropical place that only has one season, getting to see the leaves change color was pretty damn cool
