I get that you were mostly talking about binder colours, but I felt like the point could also be made for the concept.
Ah, yeah, sorry, I kind of worded that badly and it made me come across as saying "No you're wrong," without making it clear that I was still interested in the concept. Sorry about that. I super enjoy color psychology and sociology, and I really enjoy how weird our brains are with that kind of stuff and its evolutionary implications. I just think that in THAT case it was more associative memory than color psychology. Still, as there are plenty of opportunities to latch onto different colors, it'd be interesting to see if there's any particular leanings among people with different attitudes towards math. Like maybe people like me who hated it latched onto red (rather than light blue or yellow, which also had chances to become its associated color for me) because it's a rage color, and people who like it and find it cathartic are more likely to latch onto blue, while people who are indifferent more likely to latch onto green, which is a background, "natural" color for a lot of people. (I'm speaking specifically of Western societies of course; I don't know the color associations for other cultures.)
Sorry, I didn't mean to like, completely write off your idea like that!! I just wasn't feeling very dedicated to writing out my full thoughts.
I hope you mean the real Professor X and not some mundane professor that you're keeping anonymous.
unfortunately it isn’t
also please don’t get me started on my near loathing of professor x it is
unpleasant
lol
Just Now
I just had a moment where I said, "You know what? This is stupid." and let go of two silly OCD things I was doing. It's nice when that just kind of happens. It's not worth mentioning the specifics of them, but I feel good about it and so I felt the need to document it (which unto itself is a little OCD, but oh well! Can't win them all, or something.)
Now I'm going to go do something awesome with my friends.
