A set of questions from @oc-lub​ and it made sense, for me, to post it all here so that it didn’t clog up their discord server.

1. How did they meet? Was it cute or awkward? Did it start out as friendship?

They meet in the coffee shop that Bailey works as a Barista at after moving to Panorama City. It is a bit awkward because she’s noticed him since the first day she stopped in. She and her co-workers call him ‘Ass Face’ and ‘Sad Guy’ because he always has a mopey and disgruntled look to him. And it takes a bit for them to become friends.

2. What did they do for a first date? Who asked who out?

Their first date was more of an accident. Neither asks each other out, they just run into each other while they’re out and then do date things...to the point that they both wonder if it’s a date, don’t ask each other, and hem and haw over whether or not they should kiss at the end.

3. What is their favourite trait in the other, physically and personality-wise?

Bailey really likes how disciplined Jayden is in every part of his life while Jayden likes how open Bailey is to numerous ideals and ways of living that other people show her. Physically, Bay likes Jayden’s smile (when he does smile) and Jayden likes Bailey’s energy.

4. What about their least favourite trait, physically and personality-wise?

Again, Bailey equally dislikes how disciplined Jayden is. She consistently wonders how tightly wound he is and if it’ll end up killing him. Jayden dislikes how flighty Bailey can appear. If it weren’t for the fact she was so smart, she could come across like a ditz. (If not being so holier than thou and a know-it-all).

5. What was their first or most memorable fight about? Do they get personal during arguments?

They fight about how they operate as being rangers. Jayden has a daily routine that works and believes having to be so rigid in their training is the way to go while Bailey knows having a battle plan works, but that they have to rely on their instincts. They do get personal with their arguments. And, they tend to fight about Bailey’s ex, Fred.

6. Do they have a lot of hobbies in common? What about friends in common?

They have the common hobby of meditating as well as understanding oneself. Otherwise, they’re very opposites attract in terms of hobbies and personality so they don’t have much in common. They have ranger friends in common.

7. How do they spend Valentine's day? Does one of them plan it, or do they plan together? Do they do gifts? 

Valentine’s Day for them is a bit bigger deal than they’d like to let on. With Mike’s and Kevin’s advice Jayden realizes that getting flowers and a gift is probably a good idea to win her over, while Bailey agonizes over “what do you get for a guy?” despite having been able to find gifts for Fred very easily.

8. If they broke up, how would they both cope? Would they be likely to get back together or move on?

If they broke up, it’d be a heat of the moment break up and they’d be miserable. Often wanting to get back together but unsure how to talk about it until they have to.

9. What is their opinion of each other's families? When did they first introduce each other? 

Jayden is similar to Avalon but also doesn’t trust that she holds big parts of herself to herself, knowing what it’s like to be isolated. There’s a part of her that he can’t crack and he doens’t like it so much. Bailey really likes Jayden’s sister Lauren (after a while) and loves Mentor Ji, so they get along well.

10. Are they the type to get married? If so, how would it look? What about kids?

They wil get married and it’d be a big wedding. Jayden knows Bailey wants a luxurious thing and sets about to give it to her while Bailey tries to act like she doesn’t care much and fails. I don’t know if/when they’d have kids yet.

Billy and Avalon first met in school. It was neither cute nor awkward as he didn’t want to approach her beacuse of her standoffish attitude (it wasn’t until Kim made her and her friends go over and introduce themselves to Av, who was the new kid at the time, that they first spoke) and Avalon shut them down. She didn’t want them around her at all.

2. What did they do for a first date? Who asked who out?

Their first date, sort of, was when they were watching the fireworks after taking down Ivan Ooze. Afterwards, it was Billy asking Av is she wanted to go to the planetarium. If I remember correctly, he asked her out.

3. What is their favourite trait in the other, physically and personality-wise?

Av loves Billy’s intelligence and want to learn the most of everything while Billy loves her passion. However, it is always a trait they dislike about each other as it does get the best of them at times. Physically, Av loves Billy’s eyes while Billy loves her hair.

4. What about their least favourite trait, physically and personality-wise?

Answered above.

5. What was their first or most memorable fight about? Do they get personal during arguments?

Their first fight was about Avalon’s being a member of the Vipers and how he doesn’t understand why she can’t just like and she can’t see that she’s only bringing more trouble to herself when she thinks they protect each other. They don’t get personal during arguments, they argue about the facts of what they’re arguing about.

6. Do they have a lot of hobbies in common? What about friends in common?

They both like to play chess, otherwise, they don’t have very many hobbies in common. The other rangers are their friends in common, otherwise, Avalon has friends before she moved to Angel Grove that she still has and Billy has the people in the science club?

7. How do they spend Valentine's day? Does one of them plan it, or do they plan together? Do they do gifts?

They don’t do too much for Valentine’s Day. They plant flowers in honor of Billy’s mother and they get each other gifts, but the only thing they really do is spend quiet time together...unless they’re all going out to celebrate Kim’s birthday since, of course, that was the day she was born, lol.

8. If they broke up, how would they both cope? Would they be likely to get back together or move on?

They broke up for a long while and they don’t deal with it well. Avalon jumps into another relationship and Billy sticks to himself, even pulling away from thier friends. They are very likely to get back together once they’re older and able to see how they both were a catalyst in their breakup.

9. What is their opinion of each other's families? When did they first introduce each other?

Billy loves Bailey, but doesn’t get to see Ellie, Av’s and Bay’s mom, a lot since she lives so far away. But he enjoyed her company, she’s quiet like him. Captain Mitchell, he only has a working relationship with. The Olivers, on the other hand, are parents to him, though he doesn’t really know them as well either. And Av loves David and Lacey, growing very close to Lacey. They were introduced when just hanging around each other and their friends and through rangering.

10. Are they the type to get married? If so, how would it look? What about kids?

The second Bailey teleported from the  Command Center, the second her protective puple light that bathed her as she flew from the desert to right in front of her house, the world exploded in sound.

Thump.

Creak.

Whoosh.

Bailey’s gaze shifted over her shoulder at the thump. Her head whipped around at the creak. She shivered at the whoosh. Shivered at the wind that blew around her. Intuitively, she knew what it was. There was a heavy wind that had been blowing through Angel Grove that day, partially due to the Fan Man and partially as it was part of the weather already forecasted. She knew that. Knew that the wind was blowing the rocking chair Ms. Gray had on her front porch that then snapped back into the side of the house.

But she couldn’t stop the part of her that was human. Not a ranger. Just human; plain old Bailey Mitchell who was younger than the rest of her team, was considered a little sister to them all, and was powerless against her fear. Powerless against the increase of her heartbeat, of the fight of flight reaction that slithered up through her body, darkness growing and reaching her innermost crevices like ink in water. Spreading further as the seconds passed.

She took in a deep breath, tried to calm herself. It was just the wind. Just the wind that accompanied the obsidian night around her. The night that could hold anything within it, waiting to attack its prey. Bailey hooked her fingers together, played with the rings that sat on her left hand, the ones she’d stolen from her sister’s dresser that morning and hoped didn’t notice was missing. Funny how she’d been more afraid of that than the dark.

Up until then.

Thump.

Creak.

Whoosh.

With a strangled cry, Bailey flew up the steps of the house, fumbled for her keys, shoved them into the lock, flung the door open, and slammed it shut behind her. The darkness inside the house was jarring—a sudden reminder that she’d been home by herself for a while. Nevertheless, Bailey raced up to her room, jumped into bed and gathered her blankets around her. A cocoon to protect her from the outside world.

Victor pursed his lips, while his hands oved on their own, gently swishing the beer bottle back and forth. Listened as the amber fluid inside crested and waved up towards the rim of the bottle, close to seeping out, but now close enough. He couldn’t bare to waste what was the only good thing in his life at the moment.

Because he messed up.

Again.

Why was he always messing up?

A laugh escaped his lips, a hollow sound that almost startled him. “Whoa,” he murmured, bringing a hand up to his forehead. “Blood hell.” There it was, the accent that came out at some of the worst times, that he usually covered up with a Boston Bravado. Funny how much he tried to hide from it, and it continued to pop out at the times he was the most vulnerable. God, he hated that. Almost as much as he hated how heavy his head felt.

A cinder block on his shoulders, threatening to knock himself over with each minute movement. Each shift of his weight to bring the beer bottle back to his lips. Ignored the pain that bloomed across his back, slowly moving to reach into his chest. A phantom pain, the memory of crashing down each step from the highest high to the lowest low and staring up at the man he was supposed to love standing at that highest high.

Accident or not, the same question that haunted him for years continued to haunt him. Drove him to feeling inadequate. Drove him to mess up. Drove him to ignore it and laugh his head off at everything that came his way. Hahaha, plop. The mental image made him giggle a drunken giggle and still he watched the city below him. Watched as life went on with him and without him, one and the same, as he stood on the rooftop.

It wasn’t until he finished the last of his six pack and started to clean up that he noticed it. The snowfall around him, the thin layer dusting the ground that probably kicked off his bad mood, the unsure memories, the unsettling thoughts. The commencement of a day he’d been dreading that year.
