do not witch-hunt nor harass them either please ; this person was my friend from around ~feb 2024 to ~mid dec 2024. in that time we were very close, and had a shared server (actually, several shared servers) with my now fiance, who i'll just refer to as naut. we made characters, concepts, and all kinds of things together. after our falling out, they blatantly ripped off one of my fiance's oc from design to palette, and made some vague and blatant references to another.

the user "dave" is my fiance.

and here is their blatant ripoff ;;

the first time we noticed the copied design was actually several months back as they had it as their pfp; back then, we had no way to interact with them, so confrontations were limited. when confronted by our mut (titanic) in an old, shared group chat they were in, they left with no comment.

this isn't even the only example, but at this point in time i am just so drained and angry and disappointed. i have tried to make amends with this person, and they have proven time and time again that they are nothing but childish, immature, petty and unwilling to smooth things out.

their username is also whimsycle on discord. please be extremely wary of this person. they have been such a hurtful figure, and copied a very near and dear oc of my fiance of which i treasure also.

This may be a long one but, I feel I need to bring this up incase you see my OC around and the credit to her ownership isn't me. PLZ don't go after anyone! I simply wanna show that my OC is being stolen and used without my permission.

So for some context, 2 friends & I started a Facebook group for MLP collecting, I wanted to make a OC to represent our group and symbolize our friendship. Then some disagreements happened and "AD" the person who stole my oc banned and removed both me and my friend from our group

I understand we had our differences and was ok with not being friends. But after they banned us they began to make a discord server based off the group and changed the profiles to my OC "sapphire swap" and asked for art of "Their Girl"

This didn't seem fair to me. I made the OC based off our friendship, but since we weren't friends anymore, I assumed sapphire was just mine sense I made her so I made a post introducing you guys to her!

I Never gave them permission to use her or have her, But I also never said they couldn't use her, that's on me, I assumed they would respect the end of our friendship enough to discard her, maybe make a new OC for the group since they clearly wanted nothing to do with us.

TLDR I let them know I was not ok with this & asked them to stop using her. Idk if they will listen but I wanted to at least let you guys know there is art of her that was made for "AD" and if you see work of her around and she isn't credited to me. Lmk and to let the artist know

I don't condone any attacks to this person, I don't want any malicious intent I just want my oc to be just mine and not used for a community that my friend and I where shunned in. if you wish to take any action report the group and discord for stolen art (discord in group desc)

This is their response, when I asked them not to use her. I was waiting for them to send out their half of our mlp merch trade in fear they would keep their half, after I sent out mine weeks ago.

hi! I’m sillipede, an artist/oc maker and I’ve come to find an ex friend of mine have gone out of their way to steal MY original characters, not just one but multiple of my ocs, to which I can provide proof for. I am hurt and outright disgusted by the actions they have taken especially considering how they blocked me out of the blue and cut contact for seemingly no reason.

the first set of oc screenshots shown have their profiles locked so I can’t link them, unfortunately as it would lead to nothing, however I can link the “creators” Toyhouse where further proof can be shown

these ocs are characters I took time in making and I am beyond hurt they would think it was okay to block me and then steal what I made for nothing.
