Severance was born during the worst part of the war.

Before we get to Severance herself, let's talk about her creators Brawl and Megaempress first.
Megaempress was Megatron's twin spark, both were born in the mines. The siblings bond was at all time low when Megatron started the war. Megaempress hated how Decepticons has become from trying to tear down Sentinel Prime's tyranny to recreating a new tyranny under a new face.
Brawl was one of the miners/original Decepticons who revolted against Sentinel Prime and he eventually hated what Decepticons has become.
Both Brawl and Megaempress met and fell in love in the mines. They had a daughter 3 Cybertronian years before Megatron's departure to Earth. Which is when the war is at its worst.
Their daughter were not named Severance at that time, it was [REDACTED].
Had enough of Megatron's crimes against Cybertron and its commonwealth planets, Megaempress leads a band of renegade Decepticons with Brawl, a group that will eventually become the Combaticons, and Megaempress' squadron. However, because their group were too small and had little support from other Decepticons, Megatron squashed their little rebellion easily.
At that time, Brawl and Megaempress' daughter was still the equivalent of a 3 years old.
Megaempress and her squadron manages to escape to another planet with Brawl's sacrifice. However, she didn't get to take her daughter with her.
Thus, before Brawl and other members of Combaticons were stripped off their bodies, Brawl watched as Shockwave performs the worst possible punishment any Transformers could have on his daughter: empurata and shadowplay.
Thus, [REDACTED] became Severance.
Powerless to act against it and in the pit of despair, Brawl lost his sanity.
After Brawl and other Combaticons lost their bodies and their sparks were stored away in the detention center, his daughter was taken away to be raised by Sixshot.
Under Sixshot's tutelage, Severance becomes a cold and calculating individual. Severance hates spending time with others and prefers to be alone by herself. She only spends time with others if it's necessary.
Inside, she feels very empty, she always feels like she's missing something in her memory. And it frustrates her. She always takes it out on something... or someone.
However, lately, she has found herself a nemesis that somehow ignites the fire in her spark. She hates him, but he fills that emptiness in her spark. Could it be...?
