Oc standing for "original character". Oc alters are alters that are like fictives, however their source is often 'headmade' within their own source and memories similar to a character or universe the system, or a specific alter, had made. This could also be a fan made character by the system for an existing media. Often OCs are created to project or explore trauma or themes, which is possible reasons the brain splits this OC into an actual alter.

the teal represents self, with having love and understanding and acceptance of your existence. Oc alters exists and are not intentional or consciously made. This Teal and sense of self embodies the authentic individualism of the alter, regardless of how they form. Alters cannot pick their source, or chose how they form. the yellowish green represents the unique challenges and struggles oc fictives have with both self doubt, self realization, and navigating your own memories and sense of self with discernment to the original 'source' or creator's vision. This also includes the struggle of feeling isolated from other non-oc fictives. Pink represents the idealism of the self that often people use with character creation; a version of someone you wish you could be and now they embody. This can both help an alter, and hurt them as they may feel they are not 'perfect' enough or different from their design, feeling disconnect and sometimes even rejected from who they are 'supposed' to be. Normal fictives feel this as well, but it can be especially personal if you share a body with the one who made your source. The red represents trauma and how projecting and exploring it affects alters. No one wishes to make anyone have trauma, so often when alters form from ocs and projections, it can often times be difficult to accept that their pseudo memories were in fact someone'c active choice to create. This can be especially complicated if the creator is within the system as well and can become personal.

Alters that sources are tied to ocs or original works and concepts by the system face a difficult and sometimes isolating experience. If any systems have alters who would like to share their own feelings and thoughts on this topic, feel free to leave comments.
