This is the greatest! You are so sweet, and yesss Kise also gives me life! My precious son and his aho boyfriend. I'm crying just thinking about rewatching the Kaijou vs. Tou match. THEY HAVE SO MUCH DAMN CHEMISTRY. Kise's speech on his admiration always leaves me SHOOK. And afterwords I'll have to reread Yellow and cry myself into an early grave. Goodbye world.

I’M LIKE TORN BETWEEN THE MANGA AND THE ANIME, IN THE ANIME, WHEN KISE TALKS ABOUT THE ADMIRATION PLUS THE “I’ll quit admiring you’ part, you can see it like it is his own monologue within himself (because his mouth wasn’t moving?), but one can argue that he really says that ‘I’ll quit admiring you’ part out loud because of the look on Aho’s face (The parts before that, it really is just monologue within himself). BUT IN THE MANGA, it seems like he really says that to Aomine’s face because there is that dialogue bubble so !!!!!! IDK IT MAKES SO MUCH DIFFERENCE???
Like the speech before that was really just a monologue, but “That’s why.. I’ll quit admiring you.” is actually said to Aho and jUST IDK IDK AHO WAS LIKE SO AFFECTED BY IT TOO TBH DURING THE BREAK;

BUT LIKE YEAH IF YOU OR THE OTHERS HAVEN’T READ THE MANGA, PLEASE DO READ THE MANGA TOO, BECAUSE IT HAS SO MUCH MORE DETAILS INCLUDING FOR THE ONES IN THIS MATCH, THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHAT TRIGGERED KISE IN THE ANIME TO FINALLY COPY AHO AND WHAT ACTUALLY TRIGGERED HIM IN THE MANGA, LIKE IT IS BASICALLY THE SAME THING, BUT THE MANGA IS MORE DETAILED AND YOU’D UNDERSTAND KISE’S MOTIF OF WANTING TO DEFEAT AOMINECCHI MORE (He wants him to play basketbally happily again ;; w;;)
In the anime, before Kise copies Aominecchi, we are only shown that part where Aho says ‘The only one who can beat me is me’ before Kise goes into copy mode, but in the manga, Kise recalls (is triggered by) so much more things than that ;;; AND IT IS SO PAINFUL BUT SATISFYING ;-;
