Obuse Station, Obuse, Nagano Prefecture. I don’t remember the mountains being as prominent inside Nagano city, but once you get away from there, they tend to dominate the scenery. Obuse and Azumino, both in Nagano Prefecture, are 2 of the more scenic towns I have visited in Japan. I only spent half a day there wandering the streets. However, I wonder if I should have spent at least 2 days…
