Ichimatsu usagi

It is at the confluence of two smaller rivers, and includes multiple clean and deep rock pools, and a number of small waterfalls to enjoy on a hot day. With the river bed and surrounding cliff showing past human activity, it has obviously been used for bathing for many years...

We're not sure, but for some reason a tree near our minka has sprouted fruit this year. It smells citrusy, and we shall see how they mature, and mix with chuhai...

A small path through some quiet tanbo, led up into the mountains... past a fellow Cub explorer, a curious dam or flood control installation, and a trail through a bamboo grove...

With the 35C days, we've started cleaning the last few storms' mess from the villa's waterfall and bathing pool.

Tucked away in some quiet valleys, we came across a number of well-kept traditional homes and their kura.

Seeking some respite from the heat, we sneaked up a quiet street, and came across the back entrance to an appropriate shrine.
