       there was something about the library that jisoo loved. it was the place that she went to to read up on magic, and the fact that she worked at a library ( not for the whole day, but for most of it ) was more than what she could ask for. however, when she strolled to the section that usually had most of the books on magic, she found that most of the books were missing. there were only so many people she had seen actually check out those books, in fact, she always saw the same person checking out those types of books. weirdly enough, though, she had never actually seen that person come back. 

      walking over to the ‘magic’ section of the library, eyes scanning over the books on the shelf before turning to walk away. that was when jisoo saw her, the person that always checked out a book in the magic section, but never seemed to check them back in. she wasn’t sure if the person spotted her or not, but jisoo tried her best to walk up to her unnoticed. she softly tapped the girl on the shoulder, giving a small ( and innocent ) smile.

This is a crisis. A huge problem. An absolute disaster!

This girl, he doesn’t really know her that well. She’s quiet and he’s mute so he respects that silence. This girl has been one of the easiest people to get along with on a first impression he has ever met. First things first, she is small. Being small tends to mean that you are friendly in Gohn’s eyes, so he instantly thought that she seemed nice. Second, she is quiet. This can be a bonus in a lot of cases. In her case, it works. Gohn tends to like quiet or too noisy and no in between after all. Third, she likes mints. She really, really likes mints, actually. He has been calmly sliding one across the table to her every few minutes now and every single time she takes it. She is taking all of the mints and she even ate one! 

Gohn notes down in his mind (as well as his notebook) that the mint she ate was one of the little round sweet mints. Those are, after all, the least overwhelming. The one she ate was also red striped which is good to know. It is very important he know everyone’s preference in mints, after all. Mints are a good thing. They are like tiny edible parts of his soul and anyone who likes them absolutely must be a good person- no questions asked. If they accept the mints then they will certainly accept him! They are so similar, after all.

But back to him giving her mints, because that is what’s important. They’ve been sitting across from each other in this little cafe for about 15 minutes (maybe even 30!) and every so often Gohn will slide one of his multicolored, mints over to see if she takes it. Every mint he has slide her way has, indeed, been picked up and tucked away somewhere on her person. That’s every single type of mint! Clearly this is the best kind of person. She even took one of the imposter mints that actually tastes like fruit and not mint! That’s dedication!

But now his crisis comes in: he is out of mints. He had multiple bags of them just minutes ago, but now they are all emptied and he is left mintless. He no longer has a way of doing anything to continue the fun friendship he’s been building with this small girl and that makes him so very sad. He flops on the table- empty mint bag in his hand and arms outstretched over the table’s surface. He clearly looks disappointed.

Outwardly, she tries her BEST not to form any noticeable habits. She’s someone who tracks others and learns their patterns as part of her hunting process, so being on the other end of that is not something she strives for. But of course it’s much easier said than done. 

To a stranger’s perspective, it’s still noticeable that she:

stops by the library frequently.

relies on public transportation.

works at a bar.

can often be seen with her little brother.

always orders spicy food if she’s ordering food. (this pertains to nothing. i just wanted to let you all know any way…..)

Behind closed doors it’s much easier to see her daily habits that she almost always stick to such as:

checking the doors and windows five times when she wakes up and before she goes to bed.

flossing before brushing, then again after brushing.

singing to herself whenever she’s showering or is on the toilet.

The very first thought that comes to mind is, “Someone is trying to kill me.” Even if it’s hellfire from the skies, she’ll think it’s because someone set this shit up to get her. The mentality comes from the constant repetition of the belief that her family has made many enemies over the years. Which is well enforced but anyway! She’s not someone with the most developed sense of forethought when under extreme stress, so her plan would be to:

Sweat poured out from every single pore as his hand movement became faster and faster. As a righty, he always started with that hand first but as the muscle cramps became too unbearable, the man quickly switched over to the other with ease, not even missing a beat. 

His face had scrunched up at this point making him bear his teeth a little. This was probably not one of his most attractive angles but at this point, the rest of his body was moving on its own. His lips started twitching and soon he realized it would all come to an end soon. All this work would mean something very soon. All he needed to do was keep beating. 

His chest moved forward making him lean over it now but that didn’t slow him down one bit. Cris was determined to finish and all he needed was a few more seconds to make that happen. 

Just a few. more. seconds. 

In a final burst of strength, his left hand moved even faster taking delight in the white substance below him. 

With his mixer borrowed out to his restaurant, Cris was forced to whisk up 5 cups of egg whites all on his own. But he didn’t mind it much, not only was baking relaxing but with things like this, it allowed him to get a bit of an arm workout too.

“Better people? Listen, If I go to a club meeting I expect to have fun - that wasn’t fun.”

It’s not quite crying in the club, but complaining at the dog cafe sounds like a better use of time anyway because, well, dogs. And puppy cuddles. And food. And reluctant company given by the employees. Even if Jimin isn’t here at the moment, there’s still someone to vent to, and they’re lawfully required to stay put as he vents his woes.

It’s a win-win situation all around.

Deep Starters Meme: Still accepting!

His smile almost breaks. His eyes reflect the way he feels, if only for a second- eyebrows furrowing slightly as he grips the fabric of his pants. The smile stays in place, though. His eyes go back to their crescent shape and he gives a soundless laugh- shoulders shaking a bit with the action. It’s natural for him to pull his hand to cover his mouth just a bit. He shrugs his shoulders before opening his notebook to scribble an answer in his lap. He’s got no reason to fake like he can’t respond. He can give her an answer, as much as part of him says he shouldn’t. He could lie, but what’s the point? Eunae is clearly a good person. He hasn’t forgotten the mints.

“I’m not.”

It’s written clearly and large- spanning a great deal of the page along with an underline. He only takes the book back after giving her just a moment to read it. He knows better than to just leave it at that. There’s hardly an explanation in there, but he can give what he has. He can easily explain the smile, the soft eyes and the cheerful demeanor. He knows why he is what he is. So he writes it down- tries to summarize. She probably doesn’t want to read too much, after all.
