*Lanyon and Utterson talking about their pets while waiting for Jekyll to arrive. Lanyon owns (dog) a Picardy Spaniel and Utterson owns (cats) a Li Hua and Russian Blue. Jekyll owns an English Spot.*

Convo start:

L: You know, she wasn't really mine to begin with.

L: I got her on the promise of a dying man and I just couldn't say no.

U: Ah.

U: A similar thing happened to me as well.

U: Both my cats were not received much with my choice or input with the first one being a gift from my mother and the next one being dropped on me by a couple too in love to sort out their legal matters.

L: An interesting background.

L: You do know that you could have just given them off to someone else who would have wanted them.

U: Why would I?

U: I didn't necessarily despise them in the first place and in a way, i've admittedly become attached to them.

U: And besides, imagine if I had done the same thing with both you and Harry when we had first met.

U: My mother may have been right and I wouldn't hear the end of it.

L: Honestly, at this point of knowing you I can't argue with her.

U: What!

L: Well you may be a nice guy but you are one of the damn near hardest person to become friends with and i'm honestly still quite puzzled as to how we managed to stick around long enough to become as close as we are now.

L: But I suppose judging by the pet scenario you have, it only takes pressing into your life until you can't live without us.

L: Years of persistance, that's all it took.

U: That's all it takes?

L: That's all it takes.

U: Thank you Hastie... for being an annoyance.

L: Oh flattering!

L: But in all honestly I can't holster all the credit

L: Afterall, if it wasn’t for Jekyll I would have surely stopped trying befriending a stick by the first week.

L: He is rather persistant however and insisted that becoming friends would have become the most spectacular thing to ever grace the Earth.

U: Oh really?

U: And here I was thinking that I was the only one who thought that the other individual was unnecessarily unnecessary.

U: I suppose Jekyll really was the glue that held our friendship together in the beginning.

L: Haha! I suppose so! Interesting!

U: Indeed.

U: We should do something for him when he gets here.

L: How about we force another pet upon him and add to his antics?

U: A compelling idea but I think a rabbit invading his home is enough already.

U: We should try taking him out to that bakery around the square.

U: The one with the new french pastries.

L: And ruin his diet! A genius plan Gabe!
