Seoul is a safe city, she’s been told this many times - as many times as she found herself unable to find someone to walk her home after a night of drinking spree. This night, is no exception. Selfish, lazy friends. Could they even be qualified of friends? Suddenly, Miran is doubting it. Shuffling feet on the sidewalk, the young female is slowly but surely getting closer to her oh so familiar district, she’s persuaded of it. But she’s been staring at her shoes for the last ten minutes, brewing over the punishment her so called friends would deserve for abandoning her. So, it is barely unexpected that, when she lifts her head, she finds herself not quite recognizing her surroundings. Lost. ( good job, Miran! )
She comes to a halt, confused gaze scanning the buildings, high and threatening. Her phone would’ve been the first thing she’d have pulled out, if the echo of some.. loud, unidentified noise had not reached her ears. Her heart drops into her ribcage and her first reflex is to lower herself on the spot. Now she’d rather pull out her pepper spray. She’s not aware of what’s she heard just yet. But soon, her brown eyes find them, on the opposite sidewalk. And she can only assume of what’s going on. A group of men. Hurrying in her general direction. To what? It’s a who - a man, collapsed on the sidewalk. Adrenaline gives the girl a push in the back and no time to think. Heck, she doesn’t who he is, who’s got the damn gun, but she’s crossing the road. Miran is prompt to slide the boy’s arm around her neck - even more to pull him back up. Where the bullet hit him, if it even did, she doesn’t know. But he’s holding himself up, reacting positively to her encouragement to keep on dashing through the streets.
Left, then right, left again - she’s even more lost than she first was. Comes a moment where her pounding heart can’t take it anymore. Adrenaline’s good for a while, just like caffeine, but once it’s gone, you find yourself collapsing to your knees. The small alley they’ve stopped into is dark, just like the many they’ve crossed, but strangely reassuring, even for someone that’s never been so fond of darkness. Her throat is dry as she swallows - it stings. But probably less than the boy’s wound. If he’s got one. The young female glances in his direction. He doesn’t seem so good - his words do little to reassure her on their situation. But she’s strangely.. indifferent to the dangerousness of it. She emits a brief chuckle, that bounces on the walls surrounding them till it’d find a wider street to get lost into.
« Are you hurt? Want me to take a look at it? » she asks, the words coming out as a mere mumble.
