Not sure if I’m just reading too much into this but I felt like I’m the first few episodes JJ was set up for an anxiety storyline. He was clutching his chest and having trouble breathing in multiple scenes in the first few eps.. but then it just kinda disappeared. I was really interested to see JJ have a mental health storyline and see him learning to really ask for help from his friends etc but I was surprised it seemed to just be dropped

I absolutely thought this too. The scene where he was clutching his chest immediately had me say to myself "he's going to have panic attacks."

I think that actor would play an anxiety ridden character flawlessly and it works perfectly for who the character is, and we all know I like to see mental illness represented on screen, and done right.

They clearly are doing that in a heightened way with Rafe (and I actually think they are doing a good job), but i'd like to see Anxious!JJ, as well.

The chair sails through the bio farm, exposing the greenery to the office air and sending shards of glass skittering across the floor like beetles.
