hi! so I'm starting my sophomore year of college and I just wanna say make sure you get involved in your classes and outside of them. But make sure you don't make all of your friends in one place. I'm on the golf team at my university and I'm part of the honors program. When I go to honors study sessions I made friends with people I probably wouldn't have meet if I wasn't in there. Also I joined a math club and met more people there. Also make sure you take time to look after yourself (will cont
(cont.) I made a goal for myself to go to the gym everyday for an hour and I felt a lot better. I slept better and I felt more awake and active during the day. And if your in a general ed class you really don't like-for me it was Lang. don't stress too much about it! The class is only for one semester its not the end of the world. Just get yourself through it the best you can and get the best grade you can. After that you'll be able to start taking class you actually wanna take. And have fun :)
this is so helpful omg im def saving this for future reference! one of my biggest worries is about making friends because most of my friends have been people ive met at school (which was super small compared to some schools) and so ive never really been thrown into a bigger place like on my own and its been kinda scary to think about! but i do have plans to join groups and work in the theater at my college so im hoping thats some place where i can meet people i like! and im totally gonna be looking for study groups to join because i am horrible at studying alone and the fact that you made friends in those groups is like calming af to hear because the friend making thing is kinda my biggest fear haha! this is awesome advice thank you so much!! <3
