Alrighty, I have two major thoughts for this episode (since it's largely a set up one.
Spoilers down below
First thought is that I feel like Razor's Delirium here was entirely unnecessary. Nothing in the story would change if it was removed. She just shows up already in her delirious state and attacks Toothbrush because of it. The only potential argument I can see being made is that she needs a reason to attack Toothbrush. But that falls kinda flat given that she already had a potential reason for attacking him.
Firstly, she's already been established to hunt survivors, and given the Coldwave she'd have a reasonable enough excuse to do this despite the risk of infection
Honestly her entire existence in this episode feels kinda weak honestly. Like, her entire purpose here is to injure Toothbrush so that Spool and Citrus can be taken to the Three Hold. It's a serviceable excuse for her inclusion. But at the same time I feel like there were other ways to do that that don't involve Razor, like them simply asking to be taken there (like Citrus does at the end of the ep)
My second major thought is that I am genuinely sick of the exaggerated faces they keep giving Spool and Citrus
They feel way too exaggerated for what's supposed to be a quick comedic moment (I'm fine with Citrus' shocked look at Spool's body pillow, but the rest of the comedic expressions feel way to extreme). I feel like I can't take these guys seriously, which means I can't take their story seriously. And that is a problem when they are protagonists and thus a major part of the story. Especially when, this is a point in the story overall that's supposed to be a a little more serious than earlier in the story.
You know how people complain about the amount of extreme faces in SpongeBob? These expressions feel like that. Like, I'm fine with comedic expressions but this is seriously pushing it
