β objectbond!
pt: objectbond. end pt.
objectbond β a term describing a deep bond/connection to an object in a way that is important/intrinsic to one's identity, without necessarily involving identifying as that object or being attracted to it!
examples of use:
a knight being objectbonded to their sword
an individual having an essa (emotional support stuffed animal) and being plushbonded/plush objectbonded because of it
a gamer having an objectbond with their games console; having a consolebond or console objectbond
objectbonds do not have to be limited to being with an object and its owner; they're just more common that way as objectbonds generally circle around the concept of repeated interaction with an object and the sense of identification and relationship to the object that comes with it.
one can be objectbonded to places, concepts and even fictional objects however, whether due to alterhuman reasons or any other reasons.
one can be objectum and objectbonded to the same object. this would be called bondum. one can also be objectbonded with an object they are. this would be called bondkin or autobond.
the names for objectbond terms would be [object]bond or simply [object] objectbond.
coiner's note: i intend to make a flag and flag template for this. i just wanted to get this out as text with all the details so the flag post can be less cluttered.
additionally, this term is very similar to linked object(link). this is unintentional and i was not aware of the term when i coined this. you may consider this term an alternate name for linked object, but i also believe this term has enough differences to be seperate.
