One has a tendency to get lost when scattered. The Bible describes being scattered is like a sheep without a Shepherd. We momentarily forget what it's like to be in His presence. And in the absence of constant fellowship with our Good Shepherd and with the other believers, this is when we feel a false freedom and become one with the world. The Bible also says that when we get scattered or lost, we "become a food for every beast of the field", (Eze 34:5) thus, vulnerable to sin. When we scatter for a long time, we no longer hear the conviction of the Holy Spirit because our souls are weak with spiritual food, the Word of God. Be alert always and be on guard for the enemy prowls like a roaring lion looking for someone, (a lost sheep) to devour! (1 Pet 5:8). #heedHisword #listentoHisprompting #obeyHiswill
