The Little Acorn Autumnal Mittens

Didn't took the time to properly present you my new beloved critter : the Oaktree Dracorn ! ♥ He was the inspiration for my sewing project of this early fall. I REALLY want to make more but since sewing takes a lot of time it will be probably for 2025 (even if the fabrics are home ♥) In the meantime it's available on my redbubble shop ! I didn’t expect that filing taxes would be vaguely nauseating, but I’m not surprised. In response, more photos from my yard in the late afternoon sun: something purple and ethereal, a camellia nearly open, my fascination with grape hyacinths, budding oak leaves, and two more beautifully, delicately colored daffodils emerging from an overgrown border.

Woosh! And just like that - it’s November. A weekend of wind and rain has removed the leaves from the trees leaving them to swirl in colourful circles on the ground. Now the trees get to show off their gorgeous architecture, bare branches and strong, textured trunks. Wishing you a cozy November, filled with warm drinks, wooly sweaters, twinkling lights and starry nights.
