🍂 As I sit on this carpet of oak leaves bathed in the warm light of the setting sun, I feel deep gratitude for every beautiful moment this wonderful day brought me.

I didn’t expect that filing taxes would be vaguely nauseating, but I’m not surprised. In response, more photos from my yard in the late afternoon sun: something purple and ethereal, a camellia nearly open, my fascination with grape hyacinths, budding oak leaves, and two more beautifully, delicately colored daffodils emerging from an overgrown border.
