Nov 10, 2016 4:35 PM ET The Ministry of Labour has been called in to investigate after three workers had to seek shelter following the collapse of building material in an LRT tunnel near the University of Ottawa.
Yet another incident after the sinkhole last month.
It should be noted that these incidents are a problem with the tunneling strategy, and even though LRT’s require 20% larger tunnels than subway cars, it’s likely this would have happened regardless of the technology choice.
