Her first day finally working in the field she studied for. Of course she was nervous as this was important work. Solving Crime cases and really getting into the thick of it. She was excited as hell until she actually ...stepped foot into the building. It was a little overwhelming though she just..kept walking. Trying to ignore some of the stares she got. Throughout the day she of course had to ask a dozen people that were also in forensics and tech where everything was..no one really...gave her a tour. So when lunch time came around she was very mentally exhausted. Though she wanted to ask one more person for some help. Someone had to have a little pity on the new girl right? Approaching the tall man she smiled awkwardly. “Hey..I’m new here , Alexandra Henderson. I...kind of..don’t know where everything..is ..yet and i wanted to ask if maybe you have 10 minutes to show me around?” She voiced in soft tone. It was very obvious that she was a little awkward and shy.

sure, it’s a dangerous game to walk into someone else’s territory and start demanding answers. but mordecai was short on time and short on options. so he really had no other choice but to get straight to the point.   ❝ let’s make this easy for the both of us, alright? we need info and we don’t got much time for mess around. ❞

Ever since she got into Arkam she had heard about this guy. What he did , how brilliant he was suppost to be but now that she actually stood infront of him he was a lot less intimidating than she thought he was going to be. The mask could hide any facial she had but honestly she was intriqued on how someone....became..this...sadistic in his actions to have a reputation such as the other. “ Who hurt you? ...Seriously...”

❝ ed, i highly recommend you reconsider your definition of fun. ❞   as polite as oswald’s tone was, there was a definite underlying annoyance to it. but still, he kept his temper in check, taking a moment to breathe. the man was still tense, a fist subconsciously clenched at his side. the moment between sentences was brief, but he knew it wouldn’t go unnoticed by the other.
❝ yes, as much as i consider our little gatherings fun, the near death experiences do never grow old. ❞    words were laced with sarcasm as the shorter man looked to the other, a smile just as fake pulled onto his lips. he wasn’t hiding it, either, no shame sassing the riddler. Â
there was no secret that oswald enjoyed the company of ed, as much as he may deny it at the moment. there was still resentment, still distrust after all that had been done, but there was still something that held on.    ❝ i never did see you as one who got their kicks from almost dying. ❞
