With a serious case of the munchies and a high metabolism, the food room was Lucky’s dream place. He loaded up a plate with as much as he could, ready to go back for more once it was clean. Scooting over to a table and bouncing in his chair like a kid in a candy store, he started his journey with a sandwich. Lucky looked up and spotted Celeste not too far away. “Yo, Celeste. Roomie!” He called out, mouth partially full. “Come hang, I don’t think I’ve seen you all night.”

Lucky was wandering, looking for people or just what to do next. While also avoiding Bunny at all costs. He was certain she was with his sister anyways. Not long into his search, he noticed a familiar face and immediately ducked through the random crowd of people over to him. “Yo, yo, yo, waffle master!” He greeted DJ with a goofy smile planted on his face. Lucky held up a hand for a clapped handshake. “What’s good my dude? I am so excited for this year to be over.” There were some good parts but one really bad one that shrouded the whole year in dark clouds. “You enjoying this big party?”

The main reason Finn showed up to this event was to keep tabs on Angel and make sure she didn’t end up in a bad situation. Like getting kidnapped because she passed out somewhere other than home. He also knew that Ale was around again and while Angel claims to hate him to Finn, he can’t be certain she won’t get sucked back in. That kid was poison and if he crossed paths with him again it was going to be hard not to beat the piss out of him for leaving Angel in New Mexico when he was partially to blame. It was outside smoking that he finally spotted him. Not caring that the kid already looked like he was in bad shape, Finn closed the distance between them, greeting him with a rough shove further away from the other smokers. “You know ye got a lot of feckin’ nerve showin’ your face around here again.” Finn seethed the words and let out a quick huff. “What the fuck is wrong with ye, huh? Leavin’ my sister half dead in another state without a fucking care in the world then coming back here to stir shit up again. I ought to beat your ass right now.”

It was a long night, but so far it had been a blast. He’d even managed to make a couple new acquaintances which was beyond cool. Nearing midnight though, he wanted to be around more familiar faces. Anyone but Bunny even if she was smoking hot in her outfit. Lucky went to get a drink and look for someone. He’d thought about texting Lol but didn’t know if she would see it. Apparently just the idea caused their paths to cross because he noticed her near the dancefloor a minute or two later. “Lol!” He called and weaved through the people blocking his path to her. “Hey, I’m so happy to see you. I can’t believe this is the first time all night.” With her bright pink hair he thought she would have been easy to spot but he had not seen her at all. “I was just thinking about you and here you are. I must have magicfested it or mannychested or whatever it is.” He had heard several of the women in his life say it but he always forgot what it was called. 

“Why don’t you go shoot your shot? I mean I can try play wingman, mom’s love me.” Lucky stated matter of factly as he motioned to the woman his dad had been eyeing several different times. He was more than happy to go on a date my dad campaign. Blaze was cool and over the past month or more since he arrived in Bradford Springs, he learned that he was also a really good guy. Why shouldn’t he snag a super good looking woman to spend time with, too? “Can’t hurt to try.” He shrugged. Then he fell back on the other idea because talking to women, especially ones you don’t know, is super anxiety inducing. Lucky knew it well and sucked at it most of the time. How he dated anyone at all, he has no clue. “Or we can do the other thing, which might hurt but it also might look cool and be totally epic.” Maybe they could even convince someone to film it and put it on TikTok. People would love that.
